Many magicians are familiar with the practice of summoning spirits with the Lesser Key of Solomon, but what did goetia look like before this manuscript was compiled? How did Solomonic magic evolve from its roots in Graeco-Egyptian magic during the Byzantine Empire? What tools and techniques might a magician use to rediscover this art? These are some of the questions that will be discussed in this course. This class is open to any and all interested in learning more about this subject however, some previous knowledge on goetia is recommended. This is not a beginner’s course on goetia as described in the Lesser Key of Solomon.
