Decanic Astrology *In Person Class*

Please Note-This is an in person class. This class is also being offered via zoom. If you are interested in the zoom class, please register through the zoom specific link on the calendar. In addition, we kindly ask that all students please wear masks to class. 

The wheel of the zodiac of twelve signs can be divided further, into 36 decans. Each decan is 10 degrees, giving each zodiacal sign three decans. These decans have correspondences with planets and other attributes of their nature that can be used in magical work. The Picatrix, a grimoire of astral magic pivots on a solid understanding of the decans and their use. This class will present a clear description of the decans and a look at their relation to the minor arcana of the tarot, with handouts and a discussion of beginning magical work with decanic astrology. A basic understanding of beginning astrology is recommended.

Samuel McCabe is a visual artist, educator and tarot reader at Ritualcravt. He has over fifteen years of
experience with ceremonial magic in group and solitary settings. He offers classes in ceremonial magic,
demonology and grimoire magic. His classes are founded on his personal research into the historical and
anthropological origins and methods of magic. Samuel teaches using a project-based approach that
