Learn the language of candles. As magic, prayer, or meditation… candle practices are a wonderful way to connect with our intuition. Interpreting the way your candle burns all the way to the wax formations left behind. We will practice reading candle flames and wax formations in this class led by Laura Pensar of Moth & Candle. No prior divination practice necessary.

Laura (Lulu) Pensar of Moth & Candle studio is an artist and writer dedicated to the practice of philosophical divination. Through Moth & Candle, Pensar offers hand-dipped and adorned beeswax ritual candles, kits, oracle decks, and guide books. Pensar reads playing cards, candle wax, Tarot, Lenormand, and Oracle cards; teaches courses on the history and practice of divination; leads workshops on using cards and various divination systems for spiritual growth and responsible engagement with these practices; designs decks; and writes books on divination. Through Moth & Candle’s Little Lulu series, Pensar creates the materials and guides that she wished had been available when she began her divination studies over 30 years ago.
