Herbal infused oils and salves have been around for hundreds of years and were traditionally used to heal and soften the skin. They can serve as ways to sacredly anoint oneself, protect the body, and deliver the healing properties of the herbs and oils into the largest organ of our body….the skin. These herbal medicines are incredibly easy and simple to make and use.
In this class you will learn:
• What infused oils and salves are, why to use them and how • The different types of oils used in salve making and infusions • Examples of herbs traditionally used for making salves and oils • How to make different types of oil infusions
• How to make a basic salve
In person participants will leave with a salve made in class to take home and a customized herbal oil infusion that they have created for themselves in class. Online students will not be provided supplies, however, suggested supplies will be given they can follow along if desired.

Molly McClellan is a Certified Herbalist, Reiki Practitioner, Witch, and Internationally recognized dance performer and instructor based in Denver, CO.

Molly is a dedicated tree cuddler, a believer in plant spirits, and a flower whisperer. From a very young age she was attuned to the healing wisdom of plants and all they had to offer. A Certified Herbalist through Herbalism Roots and a member of the American Herbalists Guild (AHG), her approach is intuitive, blending science and tradition focusing on both the physical properties of the herbs and their energetic properties…all while adding a dash of Magic. She’s passionate about helping people achieve optimal wellness through the gift of herbs and herbalism so that they can lead enriched and abundantly healthy lives.

Molly is the owner and creator of Vermillion Herbals, an herbally inspired brand that supports body and spirit through organic teas, body products, and ritual bathing kits. She also offers herbal consultations in her private practice.
