Join us for a shamanic salon! These mini-ceremonies are essentially a way to explore and benefit from shamanic practices and are great for beginners as well as advanced practitioners.
We have a terrible time figuring out our relationship with Death. We dance between acceptance and denial. Some people say that one of our most powerful passages in life is the one where we realize and accept what will actually cause our death.
What would it feel like if Death was truly an ally? What if she was always welcome in our prayers and contemplations as a loving, patient and powerful resource? What if we paid attention to her teachings as part of creating a satisfying life? What if we really knew that she is a remarkable guide in every area of our lives?
Join us to explore the wisdom, love and power of Death and, if you like, to offer her an invitation to become your newest ally.
In my clinical practice we explore personal patterns that cause distress. Our material is activated right now in response to these tumultuous, transformative times. The collective unconscious is so full of fear and anger that it can feel a bit hard to navigate. Cultivating insight and awareness into the nature of our personal patterns is helpful; I’ve learned that the key is to fill our ‘toolbox’ with daily practices that support our felt sense of connection to Spirit, to other and to self.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with your personal spirit guides and to support a connection to your heart, your inner wisdom, and your personal power. . . to be aligned with Spirit so you can find your true north and create the life you were born to have.
The salons are always ceremonial with a focus on personal power, growth and insight. You’ll learn specific ways to deepen and expand your spiritual practice every day. This class is highly experiential with practices and teachings you can use immediately to improve your felt sense of peace, support, clarity and power. There will be ceremonial use of tobacco.

Genie Hobbs is a shamanic practitioner, ceremonialist and psychotherapist here in Denver.

She has studied for more than 17 years with The PowerPath in Santa Fe. Her shamanic experiences include deep personal work with indigenous healers from the Huichol, Q’ero and Shipibo traditions. She combines new thought with ancient indigenous wisdom to support a connection to your heart, inner wisdom, and personal power. She is also a board member for the Society for Shamanic Practice.
