PLEASE NOTE: This class is not an in-person class. This class is being offered as a LIVE ONLINE-ONLY OFFERING. The zoom link will be attached to your receipt. Please register ahead of time to ensure that you make it to the online session on time! (Class times are in MDT time zone)

Class fees are non transferable, please note that we stick to the student agreements clicked on during registration. Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time.

Spooky season is right around the corner and many folks will soon be experimenting with the “thinning of the veil.” If you are new to seeking ghostly encounters, but hope to spend your October visiting cemeteries, haunted locations, and experimenting with contact with the dead, this class is for you. We will cover:
Preparing to enter a haunted space
On-the-fly protection and grounding when you encounter spirits unexpectedly
Spirit communication tools such as spirit boxes, REM pods, automatic writing, pendulums, and spirit boards
Graveyard etiquette
Clearing your energy to ensure you don’t take home any unwanted visitors
How to seek out spirit communication with empathy for the dead and why the “paranormal bro” mentality most of us have seen on TV is just plain rude
You’ll leave class with a better understanding of how to protect and enjoy yourself when seeking contact with spirits and Sterling will surely share spooky stories throughout what is sure to be a spirited evening!

Sterling is passionate about helping others find inspiration and guidance through tarot, communication with spirits, and old timey folk magic.

Sterling has been reading tarot since 1995 and began offering readings and teaching professionally in 2013. She doesn’t shy away from the trope of fortune teller. Sterling specializes in future-based readings. She’s had the ability to connect with spirits of the dead and the natural world since childhood and has been practicing folk magic since 2014. She is particularly influenced by her practice of and studies in the Scandinavian tradition of Trolldom. Sterling’s spirit communication style is a unique blend of classic mediumship techniques, folk magic, and paranormal investigation strategies.

Sterling also had a 20 year career as a professional advocate for survivors of crime prior to and holds a Masters Degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership. Her work as an advocate is a lifelong calling.
