PLEASE NOTE: This class is not an in-person class. This class is being offered as a LIVE ONLINE-ONLY OFFERING. After you sign up, you will receive a link to register for the viewing session (separate from the ticket email) approximately one hour prior to class time. Please register ahead of time to ensure that you make it to the online session on time! (Class times are in MDT time zone)

Herbal Formulary 101 will teach students several techniques to help them create recipes for effective medicinal and energetic herbal blends. While there is no “right” or “wrong” way to formulate herbal medicine, this class series will provide students with basic guidlines in medicine-making and potion-creating to establish foundational knowledge for generating remedies that work. By taking Herbal Formulary 101, you will learn:

– Several Medicinal Actions of Herbs, and How These Actions Work in the Physical Body

– How to Formulate Recipes for General Health Conditions in Connection to an Herb’s Medicinal Actions

– The 4 Different Elements Which Make an Herb’s Constitution, and How These Elements Interact With Each Other & the Energetic/ Physical Body

– How to Formulate Recipes for Energetic Application in Connection to an Herb’s Associated Element

-How to Combine Medicinal and Energetic Formulary Techniques to Create Remedies Supportive to the Whole Person

Herbal Formulary 101 will be taught in a lecture-style class with a Power Point Slideshow, so make sure to have note-taking materials with you!

Sadie developed her love for working with plants through growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She graduated from the Colorado School for Clinical Herbalism in 2016, with 360 Hours of experience in Herbal Pharmacy, Anatomy & Physiology, Botany, Foraging, and Aromatherapy. Sadie is committed to helping people learn how to take charge of their own health by teaching how to work with plant allies in order to make herbal remedies which support the body, mind, and soul.
