This is an introductory course for those who want to dip their toes into shadow work. What is the shadow? How does this psychic energy show up in our dreams? This class presents many aspects of the shadow self from the perspective of Jungian psychology as well as including; transitional experiences, sleep paralysis, hypnagogia, hynopompia, thin versus thick boundaries, non-rem parasomnias, nightmares, the ancient Tibetan practice of Chöd, western feeding your demons exercise, and my own interpretation of this practice through the lens of Gestalt and Jungian psychology. It is both informative and experiential. I discuss both simple practical ways to incorporate the shadow in daily life, as well as how to develop a deeper relationship with your inner demons and transform them through a guided meditation practice. This work is deeply personal, and yet profoundly effects the collective. This class is designed to touch lightly into the shadow; shadow-work can be intense and overwhelming so I request that if you have a history of trauma or would like to go deeper, please contact me for individual work or a referral.

Naomi is an avid dreamer, artist, Jewish witch and magical psychotherapist. She has been channeling prophetic dreams and making artwork as long as she can remember.
