In the Norse tradition, working with the gods is an integral part of heathenry. But it need not be the sole, or even primary focus. We have an ample history of ancestor worship, which can be much more than raising a horn the memory of a person whose photograph holds a special place upon the altar.

In this discussion we will examine the attributes of four ancestral archetypes found in the Eddas and Sagas. Beyond the mythological references, each of these archetypal forces can hold sway over our day to day dealings. It all starts in ritual, then expands into your conscious behaviors outside of sacred space.

We will discuss

· Runes and Bindrunes to Connect with them
· How they influence your life and how you can call upon them for assistance
· Ways to embody their aspects to augments everything in your life

We will also conduct ritual to honor these beings.

Kaedrich Olsen has been an ardent student of Old Norse literature and spirituality, concentrating upon the runes and various esoteric paradigms from an early age.
