What is sigil magick? This introductory course provides insight to a history of signs, symbols, and sigils, from popular chaos magic techniques to contemporary practice. Instruction will mix visual documentation with experiential practice. Attendees will be able to draw upon pre-existing techniques, embodied practice, developing ideas, and working with lunar cycles, with the intention of employing sigil magick in ritual. This course is designed for both newcomers and advanced practitioners.

John Moletress (they/them) is a queer-identified artist, educator and witch. With a background in performance art, sound technologies, social justice, and somatic psychotherapy, they practice witchcraft through a somatic and trauma-informed lens. Current embodied research practices involve the construction of sound environments and digital instruments for use in ritual and sigil magick, which you will find on Instagram at kraftwitch.
