Tarot 101

Whether you are reading for yourself or a friend, the art of tarot reading can be fun, powerful, and insightful. This introductory 4.5-hour class will explore all 78 cards of the tarot. We will go over the cards’ upright and reversed meanings and practice throwing spreads. Think of it as a “drinking from the firehose” experience! All students will walk out with my Tarot 101 zine and the ability to start reading tarot regularly right off the bat!

Please note: These teachings are based on the Smith-Rider-Waite deck, and that is what we will cover in class. There are many decks that are fun variations on the Smith-Rider-Waite, so don’t feel obligated to get the classic version if you find a different one that really speaks to you. There are decks available to buy at Ritualcravt if you need one.

A friend’s sister gave her a deck when she was just a teenager and tarot and connecting with the divine became a permanent part of her life. She’s been an intuitive, empath, and “seer” her whole life, with a particular knack for connecting with those who have passed beyond the veil.
