Tarot 101

Whether you are reading for yourself or a friend, the art of tarot reading can be fun, powerful, and insightful. This introductory 4.5-hour class will explore all 78 cards of the tarot. We will go over the cards’ upright and reversed meanings and practice throwing spreads. Think of it as a “drinking from the firehose” experience! All students will walk out with my Tarot 101 zine and the ability to start reading tarot regularly right off the bat!

Please note: These teachings are based on the Smith-Rider-Waite deck, and that is what we will cover in class. There are many decks that are fun variations on the Smith-Rider-Waite, so don’t feel obligated to get the classic version if you find a different one that really speaks to you. There are decks available to buy at Ritualcravt if you need one.

STERLING MOON
Sterling Moon has been reading tarot cards for over 24 years.

A friend’s sister gave her a deck when she was just a teenager and tarot and connecting with the divine became a permanent part of her life. She’s been an intuitive, empath, and “seer” her whole life, with a particular knack for connecting with those who have passed beyond the veil. She prides herself on being a “practical mystic” who can make the esoteric accessible to everyone. Sterling began reading tarot and teaching professionally in 2013 and enjoys providing readings, workshops, and private parties for a variety of individuals, businesses, and organizations.
