Traditional Broom Making

June 18, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

$75.00

Brooms are one of our oldest tools and have been associated with magic from the very beginning. Learn the craft of traditional broom making in this intro class. Use your functional turkey-wing broom for cleaning, energy clearing, and as your own handmade altar broom.

There is an intrinsic quality to making brooms in a group circle that brings out creativity and excitement in everyone. All supplies included. Optionally bring in a small personal object of meaning to weave into the handle of your broom, such as a bone or cylindrical stone.

A native CO tree is donated for every Sorghum & Leather workshop signup. You can follow and connect with Sorghum & Leather via Instagram @sorghum_leather
