This class goes beyond surface-level explanations\, delving deep into the intricate tapestry of symbolism and wisdom woven into each card. \nDiscover the profound insights that Tarot offers as we demystify its origins and decode the Major and Minor Arcana. Learn in a community space with other students as this course will be part lecture and part work shop. Whether you are new to the Tarot or a seasoned reader- this course is for those serious about Learning the Tarot or refining one’s skill to be a more proficient reader. \n• \nThis Course will include: \n• \nClass 1: Foundations of Tarot \n• Introduction to Tarot history and origins \n• Understanding the structure of a Tarot deck \n• Overview of Tarot’s cultural and historical significance \n• \nClass 2: The Major Arcana – A Deep Dive \nIn-depth analysis of the 22 cards in the Major Arcana\n• Uncovering archetypal meanings and symbolism \n• Exploring the Fool’s Journey and its relevance to personal growth \n• Practical exercises for connecting with Major Arcana cards. \n• \nClass Three: Navigating the Minor Arcana \n• Understanding the four suits: Cups\, Pentacles\, Swords\, Wands \n• Interpretation of each suit’s Ace through Ten cards. \n• \nClass Four: Navigating the Minor Arcana (Continued) \n• Identifying court cards and their roles in readings. \n• \nClass Five: Class 4: Tarot Reading Techniques and Spreads \n• Overview of various Tarot spreads (e.g.\, Celtic Cross\, Three-Card Spread) \n• Developing intuition and trusting your instincts in readings. \n• Hands-on practice with classmates \n• Addressing common challenges in interpreting card combinations. \n• \nNo prior Tarot experience is necessary. Participants are encouraged to bring their own Tarot decks\, but decks will be available for shared use during the class. \n• \nBy the end of this series\, participants will have a profound understanding of Tarot\, enabling them to use this incredible tool for self-discovery and guidance in your every day lived life experience. \nAndrea’s fascination with reading cards began from a young age after being introduced to the Smith-Waite Tarot. From then on\, she began to explore different methods of divination and fell in love with Lenormand\, a system of cartomancy originating in late 18th century Europe. Andrea’s style of reading cards could be described as pragmatic and deeply rooted in tradition\, influenced by a true reverence for the sibyls of the past.\nAs a teacher\, Andrea has both an academic and scholarly approach to the way that she presents her classes as well as sharing from her experiences and gnosis as a professional reader. She considers the Tarot to be a book of esoteric mysteries and has spent years of her life in studying and peeling back its many layers to share the knowledge and wisdom embedded in every card.
