This class is being offered as a LIVE ONLINE-ONLY OFFERING. The zoom link will be attached to your ticket. Please check your junk folder in your email if you do not receive a ticket. (Class times are in MDT time zone) \nClass fees are non transferable\, please note that we stick to the student agreements clicked on during registration. Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \nRegistration will close one hour prior to class starting. \nSauna is a living cultural tradition in the Nordic countries with a very long history. I will give a keynote presentation on sauna culture- the history\, rituals\, practices\, healing techniques\, folklore and more. I will discuss ways in which we can utilize this tradition in our modern lives\, as well as sharing my personal sauna rituals as a practitioner in the hopes of inspiring others to remember and reweave these practices in beneficial ways on the lands we live on today. \n  \nMissy Johanna Rhysing is an American woman practicing Nordic folk traditions in Denver\, CO and Mpls\, MN. Her people hail from Scandinavia\, Bohemia/Czech Republic\, France and England. She places great importance on working with our ancestral root cultures as a means of reclaiming and reweaving folk magic and medicine to improve our lives and our relationships with the lands we live on today.\nMissy’s trainings include Trolldom\, Nordic spirituality and animism\, Swedish massage\, past life regression\, meditation\, shiatsu\, tattooing\, folk herbal and nutritional support\, and more. Missy facilitates community sauna ceremonies and is passionate about sauna tradition and culture. She has been offered the name Völva\, or cunning woman\, and holds that close to her heart with great honor. She carries immense gratitude for her mentors\, spirit council\, and peers for the doors that have been opened to her and the blessings she has received.
