Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n\n\n\n\nBesvärjelser: Spellcasting in the Trolldom Tradition\, A 5-Day Workshop Sept 16-20\, 10pm-6pm \nCourse fees include all 5 days & all required materials.  \nPlease note\, this $100 ticket price is the down payment to hold your spot. The full price for the workshop is $695 and you will be sent an invoice for the remaining total. \nThis 5-day workshop will throughly introduce students to spellcasting in Trolldom tradition\, the folk magic and folk spiritual ways of Scandinavia. This workshop will be taught as practical training for the student with lecture\, demos\, and presentation but with emphasis on hands-on learning and practical skills. This course is held in-person only at Ritualcravt. Taught by Johannes Gårdbäck traveling from Gothenburg\, Sweden and Missy Rhysing\, owner of Ritualcravt. \nItinerary:\nDay 1. – The Abilities of Trolldom and the gift of the White Serpent. How does one become Trollcunning and get the Gift of Magic? Initiations and roots of power.\nDay 2. The Mind & The Word. On this day we explore how to use the mind and sound during spell casting\, Wording. Setting up rhythm. and using poetic meter\, how to include sounds\, words and song.\nDay 3. Designing Spells. Basic & advanced procedures in creating Spell recipes. How to take an idea into actions\, timing and materials. Gathering resources. How to set up the mind before\, during and after a spell is cast. We will talk about beliefs\, verification\, doubts and when a spell does not produce results.\nDay 4. Cursing – Using the poisons. On this day we look at Förbannelser – curses. The poisons. How to remove them\, how to use them to set up and emphasize boundaries and how to apply them to remedy a situation. We will talk about the reactive fears and actual dangers surrounding them. We will set up a safe and secure space in which to practice casting and removing them.\nDay 5. Välsignelser – The beneficial spells. This day we look at and practice casting beneficial type spells. How to cast and remove them. How they can be used to improve and support. Balancing a spell so that too much of a good does not become a poison. Wisdom and strategies – how to use the gift of spell casting wisely and how they can assist connection to others\, to nature and be a tool for spiritual learning. \nFull workshop cost is $695. $100 downpayment is paid at the time of registration\, and a payment link for the remaining $595 will be sent to the participant after registration. Final payment of $595 can be broken into two payments if preferred\, please email scandifolkways@gmail.com after registration to make arrangements. All travel\, food and other expenses are determined by and paid by the participant. Gårdbäck is the author of “Trolldom- Spells and Methods of the Norse Folk Magic Tradition.” Johannes has 30 years experience as a professional practitioner\, and for the last 6 years he has taught hundreds of students and apprentices the ways of Trolldom and Nordic spirituality.\n-and-\nMissy Johanna Rhysing is an American woman practicing and teaching Scandinavian folk ways in the U.S. She places great importance on working with our ancestral root cultures to improve our relationships with the lands we live on today. Missy facilitates community sauna rituals and is passionate about sauna tradition and culture.
