And\, it’s ok to die because Death is just as natural as our birth and we were born to do it.\nJoin Death Doula & Midwife Carla Torres-Davis in a very human and real discussion on Death and Dying. This discussion gathers every 1st Sunday morning of each month. Each month Carla will present different Death related topics to discuss in a community setting where we will all explore our perspectives\, beliefs and philosophies around Death and Dying on a personal\, Cultural and Societal level. The intention of each Death Discussion is to face our own mortality as a community\, to help normalize that topic of death and dying for ourselves\, our loved ones and our communities. Within this space we are able to bring Death out of the shadows and into the forefront of our minds in hope to change they we look at and handle Death. These discussions have the potential to open doorways of living a more meaningful and conscious life and they can help with one’s own grief around their own personal experience regarding Death. Lastly\, they can help with planting the seeds in thinking about your own plans for your own end of life experience and so much more!\n“We can harness the awareness of death to appreciate the fact that we are alive\, to encourage self-exploration\, to clarify our values\, to find meaning\, and to generate positive action. It overlaps many other disciplines\, all expressed here though art. Specifically\, this is art that delivers practical information wrapping in a sensory visual experience. As we craft an ever-stronger working alliance with the cards\, magic happens. \nWe’ll begin with thorough orientations:\nthe Minor Arcana via the elements (Week 1)\nthe Court Cards for identity and connection (Week 2)\nthe Major Arcana with myths and archetypes (Week 3)\nand then take this material into\nalliance-deepening personal work (Week 4)\nreading the Tarot for yourself and for others\, and for maximum personal creativity and well-being (Week 5). \nThis series is for beginners and beyond. Please allow for spending some time each week on personal practice between class sessions.\nPlease bring:

— A fully illustrated tarot deck\, i.e. instead of simply seeing three Cups\, you’ll see people/beings interacting with three Cups. I recommend the Smith-Waite tarot deck (aka Rider-Waite-Smith\, RWS)\, or a deck derived from it. Ritualcravt carries several different versions\, and I’ll have loaner decks on hand the first night\, so you can see several before making your own choice.\nFee: $175. Every session of the course includes:\n— Extensive handout pages\n— Hands-on practice with readings and exercises \nRenna Shesso is a witch\, tarot reader\, shamanic practitioner\, and author. She’s been reading cards professionally for over 20 years\, and using tarot as a personal tool of exploration for much longer.
