Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n  \nHave you ever picked up an item and gotten a sense of the stories behind it? \nPsychometry involves receiving psychic impressions about an object\, person\, place\, or event by physically handling an item associated with them. The first hour of the circle will include basic information about the process\, the psychic senses that make psychometry possible\, and preparation for hands-on practice. The second hour will be spent in practice\, handling available items and seeing what impressions we get\, including if what we get can be verified. However\, this isn’t so much as “right and wrong” as it is about practice and having fun! \nThere will be a variety of items to practice with including found objects\, items that have been used in magical workings\, and those thought to be haunted or otherwise attached to a spirit. You are welcome to bring an item share\, so long as you are comfortable with it being handled by others. \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \n\n\nSterling is passionate about helping others find inspiration and guidance through tarot\, communication with spirits\, and old-timey folk magic. \n\n\nSterling has been reading tarot since 1995 and began offering readings and teaching professionally in 2013. She doesn’t shy away from the trope of fortune teller. Sterling specializes in future-based readings. She’s had the ability to connect with spirits of the dead and the natural world since childhood and has been practicing folk magic since 2014. She is particularly influenced by her practice of and studies in the Scandinavian tradition of Trolldom. Sterling’s spirit communication style is a unique blend of classic mediumship techniques\, folk magic\, and paranormal investigation strategies. \nSterling also had a 20-year career as a professional advocate for survivors of crime prior to and holds a Master’s Degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership. Her work as an advocate is a lifelong calling.

Used for centuries by mystics\, healers\, and workers of hidden arts\, these amulets are more than ink on parchment—they are living forces\, charged with intent and built to shape the world around you. \nUnder the guidance of Col. Welburn Kemp—a Hillbilly Jew and Appalachian Conjure Man—you’ll spend two hours immersed in both the history and the practice of this powerful tradition. In the first half of the class\, you’ll study historic examples of Hebrew Qameot\, learning how they were built\, what elements give them power\, and how they’ve been used to heal\, protect\, and command the unseen. You’ll break down the essential components—divine names\, angelic sigils\, letter permutations\, and the hidden logic behind their construction. The second half of the class puts the art in your hands. Using real parchment and a selection of pre-prepared elements\, you will build your own Qamea\, crafting a personal amulet aligned to your needs\, whether for protection\, prosperity\, health\, or something deeper. Welburn Hiram Kemp is a proud Appalachian\, steeped and studied in the time honored traditions of folklore\, conjure\, and faith healing passed down through generations in the hollers of Eastern Kentucky. His practice blends elements of ceremonial magick with old time conjure and folk magick\, as well as mystical and lodge traditions informed further by his studies in the Deep South\, particularly New Orleans. You’ll note that Reese embraces their queer\, intersectional identities when both teaching and reading. \nReese has been a reader at Ritualcravt for over two years and has studied with well-known witches like Lindsay Mack and Pam Grossman and well-respected teachers locally in Denver.
