Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n\n   With the prevalence of the Smith-Waite tarot deck\, many of us have only met Tarot’s astrology associations through the lens of its Golden Dawn origins\, even if we aren’t using that deck. \nSurprise! In fact\, through the centuries\, tarot-astro connections have wandered throughout the sky\, pairing the planets and constellations in completely different ways. We’ll look at several key decks-of-old – Etteilla\, Wirth\, Falconnier\, and Picard – for unique astro-associations\, perspectives\, insights and knowledge in each. An awareness of these roots helps deepen our capacity to bring sky-knowledge down to earth\, enriching our own wise tarot-usage. \n\nEspecially if you’ve puzzled over the Smith-Waite/Golden Dawn’s astrology\, or found you just don’t resonate with it\, please join me. \n\n\nPlease bring:\nYour own preferred tarot deck\nNote-taking materials\nIf available\, have your birth chart handy\n\n\nRenna Shesso’s shamanic calling took root in the late 1980s\, built on intensive studies with Sandra Ingerman and other formal teachers\, work that continues to this day. Our relatives in the natural world – plants and sky\, animals and elements – remain her most essential teachers. She carries several decades of experience as a shamanic healing practitioner and teacher.\n\nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \n\nRenna Shesso is a shamanic healing practitioner and teacher\, professional tarot reader\, priestess of the Craft\, and writer. \n\n\nShe began exploring magical knowledge-paths as a young adult\, learning astrology from her grandmother\, and has expended her interests exponentially in the decades since then. In addition to her own self-published zines on magical workings\, Renna is the author of Planets for Pagans and Math for Mystics (both published by Weiser Books). While privileged to study with many fine teachers\, she turns to Nature Herself as the ultimate teacher and healer.
