SUMMARY:{IN PERSON & VIRTUAL HYBRID} Self-Care for the Resistance: Generative Acts for Saturn in Aries
DESCRIPTION:PLEASE READ: This class is IN PERSON & ONLINE. PLEASE CHOOSE IN PERSON OR ONLINE OPTION WHEN PURCHASING YOUR TICKET. The class will take place at the storefront and will also be streamed on Zoom. \nClass fees are non transferable\, we stick to the student agreements agreed upon during registration. Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \nWe are right in the thick of Saturn’s transit through Aries\, a movement that we only experience approximately every 28 years. This particular transit carries an exaggerated weight\, as Saturn is also co-present with Neptune in the sign of the ram. Things may feel both burdensome and thrilling\, like the offering of a great reset but with an unfathomable amount of work attached to it. How do we make the most of that reset\, maintain our momentum\, and rise to this occasion?  \nThis workshop will review Saturn’s current transit in Aries through a relational astrology lens\, identifying the planet’s archetypal powers\, potential challenges\, and key dates for turning points of its present expression. We will examine this through the manifestation of Saturn in Aries within our own charts\, using some guided journaling and reflecting exercises\, as well as somatic movement practices. The second half of the class will focus on ritualized self-care for navigating this transit\, including astro-herbal medicine preparations and wellness techniques.  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nIsabel Gareau (they/them) is a Tarot reader\, astrologer\, and Clinical Herbalist currently residing on traditional and unceded territories of Ute\, Cheyenne\, and Arapahoe Peoples in so-called Denver\, Colorado. They have been studying the esoteric arts for the past 12 years\, offering readings\, herbal care\, and classes to members of the community for the past seven. Isabel has been one of Ritualcravt’s resident practitioners since 2024\, and is a recent graduate from the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism. Isabel also possesses a Bachelor’s of Science in Phytochemistry from Cornell University\, and has studied astrology with mentors such as Austin Coppock\, Demetra George\, and Pallas K. Augustine. Isabel’s primary focus is in astrologically-timed herbal medicine techniques\, decan-focused practice of astrology and Tarot\, and a holistic\, nervous system-centered approach to wellness.
