For example\, recipes used in meals can easily become edible spells or repurposed as spiritual baths/washes\, mojo bags\, in candle workings etc.\nEven basic ingredients transform to potent tools when used with skill. We know that healthy sleep and dreaming are essential for our health. Sleep and Dream can be potent tools for any magical practice\, if we can learn to draw upon their potential as a well of profound insight and spiritual connection. \nThis class presents methods to prepare the bed and body for restful sleep\, works for protection while asleep\, ritual cures for nightmares\, practices to emphasize lucid dreaming\, and protocols to enhance dream recall. \nVarious materia associated with prophetic and vivid dreaming will be discussed in detail. Lucky Numbers and Policy Player dream books\, common ephemera in the tradition of Hoodoo & Rootwork\, will be shown and examined for both their historical interest and relevance to contemporary practice. \nThis class is useful to practitioners of many paths and centered in the practice of Rootwork & Southern conjure. With its long history of true dreaming and dream-prophecy workers\, conjure is a beautiful example of a folk magical practice where dreams are taken seriously as divination\, spirit communication\, and ancestral guidance. \nPhoebe Hildegard Finch is a traditionally trained conjurer\, card reader\, and writer.\n{Originally brought to earth after a series of baleful magical experiments\,} she currently resides in Denton\, Texas as the live-in apprentice of Professor Charles Porterfield.
