Whether looking to heal some of the shadow associated with childhood or looking to make your craft a little more nostalgic this class is for you!”\nThis class is open to everyone who felt the Y2K era was incredibly formative no matter how old you are.\nLearn how to incorporate Y2K aesthetics\, media\, and more into your practice and transmute some of that time period for positive change in your life. \nBex Carlos\, creator of the podcast Tu Tía Bruja and practitioner of a fusion of Mexican Brujeria & American Y2K Culture\, she calls Brujería Pocha. She is a Santa Muerte Devotee\, and constantly works to uplift marginalized voices in the Witchy & Bruji Community. She has been reading tarot for 5 years and helped co-create the Queers & Queens Tarot Deck. Additionally\, she is a former house witch at Sincerely the Craft and a tarot reader at Fortune Teller Bar both located in St. Louis\, Missouri. Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \nCOURSE FEES INCLUDE ALL 5 PARTS OF THE SERIES  \nQ: How can I plan for a future that’s unknown?\nA: By knowing – by having more information!\nThe Tarot is a tool to illuminate our personal road maps. It overlaps many other disciplines\, all expressed here though art. Specifically\, this is art that delivers practical information wrapping in a sensory visual experience. As we craft an ever-stronger working alliance with the cards\, magic happens.\nWe’ll begin with thorough orientations:\n—the Minor Arcana via the elements (Week 1)\n—the Court Cards for identity and connection (Week 2)\n—the Major Arcana with myths and archetypes (Week 3)\nand then take this material into\n—alliance-deepening personal work (Week 4)\n—reading the Tarot for yourself and for others\, and for maximum personal creativity and well-being (Week 5). \nThis series is for beginners and beyond. Please allow a minimum of two hours every week for take-home assignments between class sessions. \nPlease bring:\n— Note-taking materials\n— A fully illustrated\, “scenic” tarot deck\, i.e. instead of simply seeing five Cups\, you’ll see people/beings interacting with the three Cups. I recommend the Smith-Waite tarot deck (aka Rider-Waite-Smith\, RWS). Ritualcravt carries several different versions\, and I’ll have loaner decks on hand the first night\, so you can see several before making your own choice. \nEvery session of the course includes:\n— Extensive handout pages\n— Hands-on practice with exercises\, readings and practice \nRenna Shesso is a witch\, tarot reader\, shamanic practitioner\, and author.
