Who gives you a little push in the right direction when you most need it? That little voice that speaks clearly\, but has no name? The concept that we all have guides and protectors that help us along our earthly journey is something that can be found across the world. It is also a concept that feels at odds with the hardship many people experience in their lives. Even for those who are open to the idea\, it can be difficult to get more than an inkling of insight as to who one’s guides are and how we can recognize their messages. In this class\, we will explore the concept of spirit guides and their role in our lives and use a meditation designed to help us meet one or more of them. Please note\, this class requires the ability to sit or lay comfortably for 30-45 minutes at a time in guided meditation. \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nSterling is passionate about helping others find inspiration and guidance through tarot\, communication with spirits\, and old-timey folk magic.\nSterling has been reading tarot since 1995 and began offering readings and teaching professionally in 2013. I will share a keynote presentation on the springtide\, with important timings and events we can observe in the Scandinavian diaspora. We will go over folk magic and medicine\, and ancestral practices we can utilize to bring the fresh energy of the Spring into our modern lives on the lands we live on today. \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nMissy Johanna Rhysing is an American woman practicing Nordic folk traditions in Denver\, CO and Mpls\, MN. Her people hail from Scandinavia\, Bohemia/Czech Republic\, France and England.
