Don’t forget your journal! \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nAbby Jane Palmer: I am a 4th-generation bodyworker who has been practicing massage\, shiatsu\, and energy work since graduating from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2001. I hold a BA in Psychology and am a certified life coach. My bodywork offerings include prenatal massage\, integrative techniques\, and shiatsu\, with certifications in modalities such as Swedish\, Neuromuscular\, Zen Shiatsu\, Craniosacral\, Maya Abdominal Massage\, and Quantum Shiatsu. In 2022\, I completed additional abdominal massage training to support clients with menstruation\, digestive\, urinary\, and reproductive concerns. \nMy energy work and readings focus on self-care\, embodiment\, and connection to your highest self\, incorporating runes\, tarot and oracle cards. I apprenticed with Johannes Björn Gårdbäck in Nordic Folk Magic and offer combination sessions blending bodywork\, energy healing\, and readings. \nMy practice\, Green Room Healing Arts\, is located on South Broadway in Denver\, and I also provide virtual offerings. Registration closes one hour prior to class starting. \n  \nSummertide is an important time in Nordic countries\, when the sun is at its peak and there is much to celebrate! \nI will share a keynote lecture on the Summertide with important timings and events that we can observe in the diaspora. There will be great emphasis on Midsommar\, the high holiday of summer\, and I will share the history\, magic\, medicine\, folklore and rituals of this holy day past and present. We will discuss ways to utilize these Scandinavian ancestral traditions in modern ways on the lands we live on today. \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nMissy Johanna Rhysing is a Swedish-American woman who grew up in the Swedish diaspora in Minnesota\, and is the owner and founder of Ritualcravt in Colorado. Her people hail from Scandinavia\, Bohemia/Czech Republic\, France and England. She places great importance on working with our ancestral root cultures as a means of reweaving folk magic and traditions to improve our lives and our relationships with the lands we live on today.\n\nMissy’s trainings include Trolldom\, Nordic spirituality and animism\, Swedish massage\, past life regression\, meditation\, shiatsu\, tattooing\, folk herbal and nutritional support\, and more. She facilitates community sauna ceremonies and is passionate about sauna culture. Missy has been offered the name Mästerinna as a lineage teacher in Trolldom\, and holds that close to her heart with great honor. She carries immense gratitude for her mentors\, spirit council\, and peers for the doors that have been opened to her and the blessings she has received.

This meet-up is designed to be a facilitated space for those interested in tarot\, not a “class.” There will be two facilitators\, current readers here at Ritualcravt – Andrea Carla and Reese Quinn.  \nTarot meet-ups will start with a monthly topic discussion decided by your facilitators or the prior month’s group! Your facilitators will be there to offer topics for discussion\, hold space for questions\, encourage “practice” readings\, and provide time for intentional community building as it fits the group.  \nPlease come with your tarot deck and your curiosity! Tarot decks will also be available to borrow if you do not have your own just yet! \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTORS: \nAndrea’s fascination with reading cards began from a young age after being introduced to the Smith-Waite Tarot. From then on\, she began to explore different methods of divination and fell in love with Lenormand\, a system of cartomancy originating in late 18th century Europe. Andrea’s style of reading cards could be described as pragmatic and deeply rooted in tradition\, influenced by a true reverence for the sibyls of the past. As a teacher\, Andrea has both an academic and scholarly approach to the way that she presents her classes as well as sharing from her experiences and gnosis as a professional reader. She considers the Tarot to be a book of esoteric mysteries and has spent years of her life in studying and peeling back its many layers to share the knowledge and wisdom embedded in every card. \nReese Quinn (she/they) is a tarot and astrology reader and what they lovingly call a practical witch. They have a strong awareness of the crossroads between astrology\, cartomancy\, and elemental practices. You’ll note that Reese embraces their queer\, intersectional identities when both teaching and reading. Reese has been a reader at Ritualcravt for over two years and has studied with well-known witches like Lindsay Mack and Pam Grossman and well-respected teachers locally in Denver. In 2021-2022\, they completed an apprenticeship with best-selling author and reader of 20+ years\, Stefanie Caponi.
