SUMMARY:{IN PERSON} The Wheel of Fortune: Gaining Fate's Favor with the 2026 Card of the Year
DESCRIPTION:PLEASE READ: This class is IN PERSON. TICKETS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE. Class fees are non transferable\, we stick to the student agreements agreed upon during registration. Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n  \nWe find ourselves begrudgingly living through historic times once again — so what better card to usher in 2026 than the Wheel of Fortune? As a Jupiter-ruled harbinger of opportunity and change\, the Wheel asks us to surrender to the ride destiny has placed us on and celebrate growth\, even when its terms feel untethering. Join us to discuss the meaning and symbolism of this card\, as well as figure out its place in your own personal narrative. This class will feature a 1 hour lecture on the card itself\, followed by a 1 hour workshop of Tarot spreads and astrological techniques to consider when approaching the Wheel of Fortune. Participants are encouraged to bring a Tarot deck\, an accessible physical or digital copy of their birth chart\, and something to write with. \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nIsabel Gareau (they/them) is a Tarot reader\, astrologer\, and herbalist currently residing on traditional and unceded territories of Ute\, Cheyenne\, and Arapahoe Peoples in so-called Denver\, Colorado. They have been studying the esoteric arts for the past 11 years\, offering Tarot and astrology readings to members of the community for the past six. Isabel practices from a process-based and Jungian approach\, helping querents to understand and empower their own personal narrative through storytelling and deep inner listening. Isabel has been one of the House Readers at Ritualcravt since 2024.

SUMMARY:{VIRTUAL} Monthly Magical Craftivists!
DESCRIPTION:PLEASE READ: VIRTUAL ZOOM CLASSES OPERATE AS LIVE CLASSES ONLY\, WE DO NOT RECORD TO PROTECT THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF OUR TEACHERS. This class is not an in-person class\, it is a live\, online only offering. Your zoom link will be attached to your ticket. Please also check your junk\, spam and promotions folders in your email for your ticket. Email learn@ritualcravt.com with any questions. Classes are in MDT time zone. Class fees are non transferable\, we stick to the student agreements agreed upon during registration. Registration closes one hour prior to class beginning. \n  \nWe are holding a monthly gathering for those who wish to work on their crafts (knitting\, crocheting\, stitching\, jewelry-making\, writing\, drawing\, you name it!) in the shared space of a zoom call. We are seeking self-care\, community\, and creative expression in a group that will welcome and encourage conversation and connection\, though there is no requirement to speak or to even have your screen on if you’d rather be anonymous and just “be” with us! \nLet’s face it\, our world demands constant productivity often for the sake of others. I often think that we are led to believe “how can we craft at a time like this?” But this is precisely the moment to engage in what makes us feel happy and at peace. We will reclaim the energy and beauty of crafting for the sake of personal fulfillment and relaxation. All skill levels and craft mediums are welcome in these gatherings that will be like book clubs\, but for crafts. We will set a theme for each session so you can consider it or even journal on it before attending\, and in our meetings\, you will have an opportunity to share with others\, if you choose\, while I will facilitate. Note that these are not lectures or classes but more like free-form meetings in a safe space\, with 3 price levels so you can choose what works best for you economically. \nJanuary: We have talked in the past about how we came to learn our craft and if we were taught skill or technique by anyone. For January\, let’s talk about whether we have actually taught anyone else our craft\, whether we would like to if we have not\, or if we’d rather keep our work as special to ourselves\, and why. \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR \nSusan Redington Bobby\, the founder of Professor of Words\, LLC\, is an online teacher\, a freelance editor\, a writing mentor\, and a tutor. Her specialty is being able to read people on a deeper level through their writing\, and she has recently completed a certificate course on integrative somatic trauma therapy.  She is a retired professor of English with expertise in fairy tales\, adolescent literature\, goddess archetypes\, magical realism\, creative writing\, and film studies. She is the author of Beyond His Dark Materials\, the editor of Fairy Tales Reimagined\, and co-editor of The Artemis Archetype in Popular Culture. The Series Editor of Tales from Fiddler’s Green\, she also occasionally publishes creative fiction. She is currently studying the Bardic Course in Druidry from OBOD. She maintains Mellie’s Grove\, a certified NWF backyard wildlife habitat that is home to a rescued and small stabilized cat family and all manner of wildlife.
