Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n  \nJoin Lunar Roots for a grounding New Moon workshop centered on intention-setting\, clarity\, and fresh beginnings. \nThe New Moon marks the start of the lunar cycle and is traditionally a time to pause\, reflect\, and set intentions around what you want to grow\, invite in\, or shift over the coming weeks. This workshop offers a supportive\, welcoming space to slow down and connect in community. \nThis New Moon falls in Aquarius on 2/17/26\, a sign associated with authenticity\, innovation\, and collective thinking. \nDuring the workshop\, you’ll be guided through a meditation with subtle sound healing to help quiet the mind and settle into the body\, followed by a New Moon intention-setting ritual. All materials are included. \nNo prior experience is needed. Registration closes one hour prior to class beginning. \n  \nWe have been through a lot as a collective in the past several years\, so I think we need a breath of hope: Persephone is needed now more than ever. \nPersephone\, the dual-natured goddess\, represents both the innocent maiden and the experienced queen of the underworld. Her archetype is often connected with those who have undergone trauma and found a way to rise above it\, becoming stronger and more resilient. But sometimes we are triggered into the realization of how our innocence has been irrevocably harmed\, and our wounds\, though healed over\, still reside deep within us. Through them we can be dragged back into periods of overwhelming anxiety and depression. \nWhat I would like to offer is a way to make those two sometimes dueling sides of our natures meet and collaborate to make us whole. I want to help you cultivate a way to connect with that innocent maiden side and find its enormous power so that being pulled away from your tough-as-nails dark goddess of the underworld energy doesn’t break you down\, but instead re-invigorates you. \nIn this class\, I’ll cover aspects of the dual natures of the Persephone archetype\, apply that knowledge and understanding to our own experiences of lost innocence and cultivated experience\, and suggest ways we can reframe our connections with our “pre-trauma” selves that will empower us. Suggestions for Persephone-specific rituals and altar offerings will also be given. Class will be taught from a trauma-informed perspective. \nTwo sliding scale options for tickets. \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR \nSusan Redington Bobby\, the founder of Professor of Words\, LLC\, is an online teacher\, a freelance editor\, a writing mentor\, and a tutor. Her specialty is being able to read people on a deeper level through their writing\, and she has recently completed a certificate course on integrative somatic trauma therapy.  She is a retired professor of English with expertise in fairy tales\, adolescent literature\, goddess archetypes\, magical realism\, creative writing\, and film studies. She is the author of Beyond His Dark Materials\, the editor of Fairy Tales Reimagined\, and co-editor of The Artemis Archetype in Popular Culture. The Series Editor of Tales from Fiddler’s Green\, she also occasionally publishes creative fiction. She is currently studying the Bardic Course in Druidry from OBOD. She maintains Mellie’s Grove\, a certified NWF backyard wildlife habitat that is home to a rescued and small stabilized cat family and all manner of wildlife.

Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n  \nWe will move backwards through time in a guided meditation to explore a previous lifetime that is affecting us in our current life today. Through exploring our previous lives\, we can move towards healing\, reclaiming\, and releasing in our current life. We can gather new understandings of patterns and behaviors\, reclaim gifts and strengths\, and even end commitments made in past lives that are no longer serving us. Past life exploration can also be interesting and fun!\nWe will begin with a brief discussion and explanation of past life work\, move into the meditation\, and end with a bit of processing and discussion. This meditation is best suited for people newer to this work.\nNo experience is necessary\, just come with an open mind and a notebook and pen to journal afterward. Dress comfortably! \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nMissy Johanna Rhysing is a Swedish-American woman who grew up in the Swedish diaspora in Minnesota\, and is the owner and founder of Ritualcravt in Colorado. Her people hail from Scandinavia\, Bohemia/Czech Republic\, France and England. She places great importance on working with our ancestral root cultures as a means of reweaving folk magic and traditions to improve our lives and our relationships with the lands we live on today. \nMissy’s trainings include Trolldom\, Nordic spirituality and animism\, Swedish massage\, past life regression\, meditation\, shiatsu\, tattooing\, folk herbal and nutritional support\, and more. She facilitates community sauna ceremonies and is passionate about sauna culture. Missy has been offered the name Mästerinna as a tradition teacher in Trolldom\, and holds that close to her heart with great honor. She carries immense gratitude for her mentors\, spirit council\, and peers for the doors that have been opened to her and the blessings she has received.
