It is being offered as a LIVE ONLINE-ONLY OFFERING. The zoom link will be attached to your ticket. Please also check your junk\, spam and promotions folders in your email for your ticket. Registration closes one hour prior to class starting. \n  \nIn this three-part class series\, we will explore some of the fundamental components of medical astrology\, including origin of the technique and practical applications. Note that it is not required to take all three classes in the series\, nor are earlier classes in the series prerequisite for later ones! Students at any skill level of astrology\, herbal medicine\, or with any interest in alternative health should feel comfortable dropping into any of this material. In this iteration\, we will go over correspondences between the planets + zodiac and the body systems. Participants will receive approximately 90 minutes of lecture-style presentation and notes\, and 30 minutes of chart examples and discussion. \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nIsabel Gareau (they/them) is a Tarot reader\, astrologer\, and herbalist currently residing on traditional and unceded territories of Ute\, Cheyenne\, and Arapahoe Peoples in so-called Denver\, Colorado. They have been studying the esoteric arts for the past 11 years\, offering Tarot and astrology readings to members of the community for the past six. Isabel practices from a process-based and Jungian approach\, helping querents to understand and empower their own personal narrative through storytelling and deep inner listening. Isabel has been one of the House Readers at Ritualcravt since 2024.

Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n\n     By whatever name – trance\, shamanic journeying\, inner council work – if you’re already experienced with drum-driven journey practices\, please join us for ceremony\, journeying\, explorations\, drumming\, and community. Hone your skills and visit with your Guides\, within a circle of like-minded\, supportive humans. These practices – deeply personal though they are – were born and flourished within communities – humans gathering together in united energies and intentions\, through hundreds of generations\, in all times and places. When we circle together\, we’re a continuing part of that. \nNot a class\, but a circle\, we’ll generally have time for several journeys: first on a theme of your own choosing\, then others with varying intentions\, applications\, and styles of working. I would love to help you reframe this month by focusing on Hestia\, a goddess of hearth (which is Latin for focus) and home\, who cultivates wisdom and periods of connection with others on a similar path. \nHestia and Vesta\, her Roman counterpart\, are symbolized in the flame\, dancing in the center of the home or other spiritual place. Learning about her and her archetype can provide you with the tools to make February be a month where you focus on what you need around you to feel as secure and safe as possible. We will focus on what is integral in your mind and body\, what resonates as most meaningful\, and use these touchstones as a guide to curate your own personal safe space\, which protects you and makes you feel whole. Hestia can teach us how to slow down\, to mindfully and meditatively complete our tasks. Furthermore\, a connection with her archetype can make us aware of those in the collective who are like-minded\, and help us practice discernment in choosing those we form a deep connection with\, in person or over the\nmiles.\nClass will be taught from a trauma-informed perspective and offer breathwork and visualization exercises\, ritual suggestions\, and meditative practices. \nTwo sliding scale options for tickets. \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR \nSusan Redington Bobby\, the founder of Professor of Words\, LLC\, is an online teacher\, a freelance editor\, a writing mentor\, and a tutor. Her specialty is being able to read people on a deeper level through their writing\, and she has recently completed a certificate course on integrative somatic trauma therapy.  She is a retired professor of English with expertise in fairy tales\, adolescent literature\, goddess archetypes\, magical realism\, creative writing\, and film studies. Ideas about what is “safe\,” “allowed\,” or “spiritual enough” quietly taught you to stay small\, stay agreeable\, or stay silent. These distortions don’t always feel negative\, they often masquerade as discipline\, goodness\, or spiritual maturity\, yet they subtly erode your authority\, clarity\, and self-trust. \nIn this class\, you’ll identify the distorted belief structures that keep you passive\, hesitant\, or self-erasing. This includes fear-based spiritual conditioning\, toxic positivity that dismisses your real experience\, and belief systems that frame power\, anger\, or desire as something to suppress.
