Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \nThis class is a 5-week series taking place Sundays from 2-4pm on May 24\, 31\, and June 7\, 14\, 21! \nQ: How can I plan for a future that’s unknown?\nA: By knowing – by having more information! \nThe Tarot is a tool to illuminate our personal road maps. It overlaps many other disciplines\, all expressed here through art. Specifically\, this is art that delivers practical information wrapped in a sensory visual experience. As we craft an ever-stronger working alliance with the cards\, magic happens. \nWe’ll begin with thorough orientations:\n— the Minor Arcana via the elements (Week 1);\n— the Court Cards for identity and connection (Week 2);\n— the Major Arcana with myths and archetypes (Week 3);\nand then take this material into\n— alliance-deepening personal work (Week 4);\n— reading the Tarot for yourself and for others\, and for maximum personal creativity and well-being (Week 5). \nThis series is for beginners and beyond. Please plan on allowing a couple of hours every week for take-home assignments between our class sessions.\nPlease bring:\n— Note-taking materials\n— A fully illustrated tarot deck\, i.e. instead of simply seeing three Cups\, you’ll see people/beings interacting with three Cups. I recommend the Smith-Waite tarot deck (aka Pamela Colman Smith\, Rider-Waite-Smith\, RWS). Ritualcravt carries several different versions\, and I’ll have loaner decks on hand the first night\, so you can see several before making your own choice.\n\nEvery session of the course includes:\n— Extensive handout pages\n— Large\, vivid explorations of the artwork – Tarot is a visual medium!\n— Hands-on practice with readings and exercises\n\n\n  \nRenna Shesso is a witch\, tarot reader\, shamanic practitioner\, and author. She’s been reading cards professionally for over 20 years\, and using tarot as a personal tool of exploration for much longer.\n\nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \n\nRenna Shesso is a shamanic healing practitioner and teacher\, professional tarot reader\, priestess of the Craft\, and writer. \n\n\nShe began exploring magical knowledge-paths as a young adult\, learning astrology from her grandmother\, and has expended her interests exponentially in the decades since then. In addition to her own self-published zines on magical workings\, Renna is the author of Planets for Pagans and Math for Mystics (both published by Weiser Books). Registration closes one hour prior to class beginning. \n  \nOne of many ways to raise the energy of your spellwork is to write your ritual in verse\, but writing poetry can seem daunting. This special seasonal offering will focus on a few basic yet powerful poetic forms with an eye towards making the writing itself accessible and easy for a beginner. \nWe will cover poems as short as 2-line types and a few longer forms as well as both rhyming and non-rhyming styles. You’ll get a detailed “Poet’s Grimoire” guide filled with lots of examples and spell-starters to help you find your flow. You’ll also get the opportunity in the workshop to practice writing in a safe and supportive environment. You will leave class with some ideas and samples you can use to enhance your spellwork. \nClass is open to beginners as well as those with a little experience seeking further guidance. Come prepared with a specific intention\, such as protection\, prosperity\, or a personal spring renewal\, and we can work together to weave it into verse. It’s a great opportunity to get out that gorgeous notebook you had to have but are waiting to use! \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR \nSusan Redington Bobby\, the founder of Professor of Words\, LLC\, is an online teacher\, a freelance editor\, a writing mentor\, and a tutor. Her specialty is being able to read people on a deeper level through their writing\, and she has recently completed a certificate course on integrative somatic trauma therapy.  She is a retired professor of English with expertise in fairy tales\, adolescent literature\, goddess archetypes\, magical realism\, creative writing\, and film studies. She is the author of Beyond His Dark Materials\, the editor of Fairy Tales Reimagined\, and co-editor of The Artemis Archetype in Popular Culture. The Series Editor of Tales from Fiddler’s Green\, she also occasionally publishes creative fiction. She is currently studying the Bardic Course in Druidry from OBOD. She maintains Mellie’s Grove\, a certified NWF backyard wildlife habitat that is home to a rescued and small stabilized cat family and all manner of wildlife.

Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n  \nHave you ever picked up an item and gotten a sense of the stories behind it? \nPsychometry involves receiving psychic impressions about an object\, person\, place\, or event by physically handling an item associated with them. The first hour of the circle will include basic information about the process\, the psychic senses that make psychometry possible\, and preparation for hands-on practice. The second hour will be spent in practice\, handling available items and seeing what impressions we get\, including if what we get can be verified. However\, this isn’t so much as “right and wrong” as it is about practice and having fun! \nThere will be a variety of items to practice with including found objects\, items that have been used in magical workings\, and those thought to be haunted or otherwise attached to a spirit. But  after Ragnarök\, the age of endless war is over. What remains? \nIn this class we explore how the warrior ideal transforms after Ragnarök. The figures who remain embody a different kind of power: discipline\, restraint\, endurance\, and a commitment to rebuilding rather than conquering. We will examine how the surviving gods represent a shift in the meaning of strength and what this transformation reveals about leadership\, responsibility\, and personal authority in a world after collapse. \nWe will also explore the deeper meaning of oath and honor in the Norse tradition. When institutions fail and external authority disappears\, the responsibility for order falls to the individual. Oath becomes a binding force that shapes character\, establishes trust\, and gives structure to the rebuilding of society. \nThe session concludes with a ritual practice centered on the making of a quiet\, personal oath. In silence and reflection\, participants will consider the principles they choose to live by in a changing world and symbolically anchor their commitment to walking the path of those who endure and rebuild. \nWhat if Ragnarök has already happened and we are living in the world that comes after? \nThis monthly working explores the continuation of the gods’ legacy through lore\, ritual\, and personal practice. In a time when institutions falter and old structures collapse\, we turn to the surviving powers of the Norse cosmos to help us confront shadow\, cultivate strength\, and rebuild a coherent way of being in a changed world. \n\nYOUR INSTRUCTORS: \n\n\n\n\n\n\nKaedrich Olsen has a lifetime of experience exploring the spirit world and more than 30 years teaching and guiding others in the paranormal arts. Growing up in a haunted house and attending a spiritualist church\, he developed early skills in séance work and spirit communication.
