Herbal First Aid Workshop

The Herbal First Aid Workshop teaches how to treat non-life threatening injuries, sicknesses, and other ailments with plant-based medicine. This course is for beginner students with little to no experience in herbal medicine, and will teach about several botanical allies and preparations to use when providing natural first aid care. In this class, we will discuss how to treat the following ailments:
– Cuts and Scrapes
– Bug Bites
– Contact Rashes
– Upset Stomach
– Muscle Aches
– Bleeding and Bruises
– Poison Ivy and Poison Oak Rash
– Minor Allergic Reactions
– Sore Throat, Colds, Upper Respiratory Issues
– Snake Bites
– Emotional Imbalance
– PLUS specific herbal recipes for you to use when creating your own Herbal First Aid Kit
Students will recieve a Certificate of Completion at the end of the workshop. Herbal First Aid will be taught in a lecture-style class with a Power Point Slideshow, so make sure to bring note-taking materials with you! It is also advised that bring a water bottle and a snack, as this will be a 4 hour workshop.
Sadie developed her love for working with plants through growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She graduated from the Colorado School for Clinical Herbalism in 2016, with 360 Hours of experience in Herbal Pharmacy, Anatomy & Physiology, Botany, Foraging, and Aromatherapy. Sadie is committed to helping people learn how to take charge of their own health by teaching how to work with plant allies in order to make herbal remedies which support the body, mind, and soul.
