You’ve heard the term “witch” you’ve seen the word “witchcraft”, but what do they mean? Who is a witch? Can anyone be a witch? Join Skye Mendelson and Loretta Ledesma of Ritualcravt as we dive into what it means to be WITCH. Where to begin, what are magical objects, how to set an altar and basic spell casting. Beginning a magical grimoire, keeping a magical record. And what is the magic of the moon? Blend a tea, create a potion and put together a personalized spell kit. Come to the altar of self and connect with the knowledge within.
This class is for ages 12-17. The word witch is used to describe folks of all genders and non conforming. This is a safe space for all.
Please bring a note book and writing utensil!
Loretta Ledesma, founder of the Mile High Conjure Gala, is a Santisima Muerte devotee and practitioner of Conjure who has a deep relationship with the spirit world and the ancestral realms.
She approaches the work from a Conjure tradition and a close, open relationship with the dead. Loretta walks her spiritual path openly and comfortably with the less freely-talked about workings and brings deep knowledge and experience of this strangely beautiful wisdom to her teachings. Loretta teaches at as well as co-runs the Ritualcravt School in Denver, Colorado. She is a Legacy student of the Conjure man Professor Charles Porterfield. Follow her on Instagram @thedeathwitch
Skye Mendelson, House Witch at Ritualcravt and dedicated student of the craft, studying with Loretta Ledesma. Skye has worked in several shops in the state before finding her home at RItualcravt. She loves the magic of plants and works comfortably in the spirit realms. Skye studies Conjure and has a deep love for her mystical roots.
