We will discuss fibers and plant pigments before diving into a variety of plants and design options. Using the bundle dye method\, we will steam and infuse botanicals into our bandanas. No experience is necessary\, all students receive 1 cotton bandana along with guidance and many flowers\, pigment rich plants\, and modifiers to create your own unique pattern. Students will take home their finished bandanas at the end of class. \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nLeah\, of Round Trip Goods\, is a slow fashion designer and artist working with natural dyes and upcycled cotton.  She loves sharing her knowledge and passion for plant dyes and sustainable textiles with others through community building\, teaching\, art\, and fashion.

In this workshop you will learn about the restorative benefits of native plants and how to plant them to mitigate challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss. Danna will share how she approaches naturalistic garden design and tips to increase your odds of success with new plants. Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n  \nGrief is a thread woven into the fabric of our lives\, coexisting with the cycles of nature.\nJoin Carla Torres-Davis\, Death Doula + Midwife & Resse Quinn\, Tarot Reader + Astrologer for an evening of weaving our collective and communal Grief of a loved one – no matter how recent or long ago – in a community setting. During our time together\, we will honor the lives of those who are dear to us but no longer with us in intentional activities that thread the layers and cycles of Grief that are still very present within us. \nSpring is a time of rebirth and new beginnings\, but for those grieving\, this can feel like a harsh reminder of the loss we are still carrying. It’s important to allow ourselves to experience the change of seasons at our own pace\, finding comfort in both the sorrow and the growth that spring brings. This gathering offers a healing and safe space to witness and be witnessed in our own and each other’s collective Grief around the loss of a special person in our lives. Carla is passionate about the Death Positive movement and is an advocate of normalizing death and mortality in everyday life. She hopes to bring death back to its sacred place in the community through her death work services and discussions. Carla is a end of life care volunteer for Hospice and is currently working towards a Home Funeral Guide certification. Join me live at Ritualcravt for an afternoon of casting spells for the Spring season! Please come with some ideas of what you would like to grow or cultivate more of in your life during for Spring. We will have a short lecture on traditional trollpåse\, discuss materia for magical bags\, and learn how to cast spells with them. All students will make atleast one bag to bring home. All materials will be provided! \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nMissy Johanna Rhysing is a Swedish-American woman who grew up in the Swedish diaspora in Minnesota\, and is the owner and founder of Ritualcravt in Colorado. Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n  \nJoin Melanie of Seven Sisters as we take a deep dive into the mysteries of Venus! \nSince the earliest civilizations\, people have been tracking and honouring the star Venus as both Deity and Way-Show-er.  It’s influence in our daily lives repeatedly leads us through our own personal underworld\, through the portals of initiation\, and toward our own path of ascension and reclamation. Whether we are paying attention to the Venusian influence in our lives or not\, it’s a rhythm that we are all participating in.  When we attune ourselves to this flow\, it grants us the gnosis of our divine celestial connection to The All in ways only the initiated will know. \nThis class will focus on the divine masculine and the divine feminine Venusian mysteries of the Morning and Evening Star;  how connecting to them can amplify our practices via the path of initiation\, understanding the cycles of Venus in the sky\, in our bodies\, as well as how they manifest through our spiritual experience. \nThis two hour class will conclude with  journey work to deepen into the frequency of Venus as it is alive in our bodies at that time\, and initiating contact (or deepening your relationship ) with your personal Venusian guide. Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \n  \nThis class is a 3-part series taking place on April 18th\, 6-8pm\, May 27th\, 6:30-8:30pm\, and June 24\, 6-8pm. Please take note of these dates now! About this series: \nClass 1: Meeting the Plants as Ancestors \n“Plants are our ancestors that are still alive” – Lisa Fazio. \nPart 1 of “Plants as Ancestors” is in April\, having to do with how we can approach plants as teachers and as living spirits with respect. This will tie in conversations around being on stolen land\, land sovereignty\, and how we can see plants not just as tools to be used\, but living forces that have so much to teach us. \nWe will talk in this class about what ancestral allies can feel like and look like\, a no versus a yes\, and finding plants your ancestors may have had a connection with and learning more about plants as vessels to connect with our ancestors. Part one will focus on all the practical elements – identifying these plants and ethical sourcing\, working with flower essences and plant matter in different preparations\, and how we can invite these ancestral allies into our life to strengthen our connection with the ancestors. \nStudents will leave this class with an understanding of how to approach and work with plants as teachers\, and will be instructed to do so before part two of the meeting so we can share our experiences in identifying\, sourcing\, and connecting with plant teachers. \nClass 2: Plants as Ancestors: Plant Share Circle \nPart 2 of “Plants as Ancestors” is in May\, as we move into spring time. This class will follow up on the first class and hold space for students to share their experiences with a plant teacher. This can be a space to share frustrations\, difficulties\, or exciting experiences and confirmations that we may have had in working with this teacher. \nPlant Ancestor Share is geared towards holding space for the nuances in working with plants and building community – it will allow us to not only share our experiences\, but lean into a guided meditation to meet plant ancestors\, continuing to build relationships with plants we met\, and ensuring that all students feel heard in their concerns\, frustrations\, and confirmations. \nClass 3: Plants as Ancestors: Moving Through the World \nPart 3 of “Plants as Ancestors” will look into how to apply what we learned not only from the plants\, but as animistic practitioners who can continue to form relationships with all living things moving forward. This section of the class focuses on moving through the world not just recognizing plants as tools\, but plants as allies and how to continue to foster relationships with not just plants\, but all living spirits and ancestral allies. \nThis class will discuss animistic pathways in folk magic\, rituals and ways of being to honor our ancestors\, intentionality in our day-to-day\, and discussions around working ritual and ceremony into daily life. We will talk about how the mundane is magical\, folk magic and animism\, and each student will leave the class knowing more about how to implement teachings from plants and magic into their day to day. \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nFrankie Castanea\, also known as Chaotic Witch Aunt\, is a practicing folk witch\, animist\, Italian American folk practitioner\, and spirit worker.  They have been on a journey of reconnection to culture and ancestral practices for almost five years now\, a practicing witch and diviner for almost a decade. Students will learn how to map key aspects of traditional magick and conjure onto the ten sephirot (emanations) to gain deeper insights into the spiritual principles underlying this expansive paradigm of folk magick. Students will learn the basics of cleansing and protection plus how to use the Psalms and much more. Reese has been a reader at Ritualcravt for over two years and has studied with well-known witches like Lindsay Mack and Pam Grossman and well-respected teachers locally in Denver. Please ensure you are able to attend the scheduled class time. \nJoin us for our monthly tarot meet-up! This meet-up is designed to be a facilitated space for those interested in tarot\, not a “class.” There will be two facilitators\, current readers here at Ritualcravt – Andrea Carla and Reese Quinn.\nTarot meet-ups will start and end with ritual but then will be driven by you! Your facilitators will be there to offer topics for discussion\, hold space for questions\, encourage “practice” readings\, and provide time for intentional community building as it fits the group.\nPlease come with your tarot deck and your curiosity! \nYOUR INSTRUCTORS: \nAndrea’s fascination with reading cards began from a young age after being introduced to the Smith-Waite Tarot. From then on\, she began to explore different methods of divination and fell in love with Lenormand\, a system of cartomancy originating in late 18th century Europe. Andrea’s style of reading cards could be described as pragmatic and deeply rooted in tradition\, influenced by a true reverence for the sibyls of the past. As a teacher\, Andrea has both an academic and scholarly approach to the way that she presents her classes as well as sharing from her experiences and gnosis as a professional reader. She considers the Tarot to be a book of esoteric mysteries and has spent years of her life in studying and peeling back its many layers to share the knowledge and wisdom embedded in every card. \nReese Quinn (she/they) is a tarot and astrology reader and what they lovingly call a practical witch. In this course\, we will explore how to choose\, prepare\, and charge containers for a wide variety of magical purposes\, from protection and love spells to abundance and healing rituals. Don’t forget your journal! \n  \nYOUR INSTRUCTOR: \nAbby Jane Palmer: I am a 4th-generation bodyworker who has been practicing massage\, shiatsu\, and energy work since graduating from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2001. I hold a BA in Psychology and am a certified life coach. My bodywork offerings include prenatal massage\, integrative techniques\, and shiatsu\, with certifications in modalities such as Swedish\, Neuromuscular\, Zen Shiatsu\, Craniosacral\, Maya Abdominal Massage\, and Quantum Shiatsu. In 2022\, I completed additional abdominal massage training to support clients with menstruation\, digestive\, urinary\, and reproductive concerns. \nMy energy work and readings focus on self-care\, embodiment\, and connection to your highest self\, incorporating runes\, tarot and oracle cards. I apprenticed with Johannes Björn Gårdbäck in Nordic Folk Magic and offer combination sessions blending bodywork\, energy healing\, and readings. \nMy practice\, Green Room Healing Arts\, is located on South Broadway in Denver\, and I also provide virtual offerings.
