As the seasons change from Autumn to Winter, we see the shift in power from the Oak King to the Holly King. These two figures are shown in Celtic tradition as the transition from spring and summer to autumn and winter. We will examine how the Celtic folk viewed and celebrated these spiritual beings as well as the history of their respected counterparts. We will also discuss the simple rituals and festivals that go hand and hand with these concepts and how they relate to the modern world.

Gabriel Varzal is a tarot reader, medium, and generational practitioner.
