Folk Sauna Traditions: Magic and Culture in Scandinavia:
Sauna is a living cultural tradition in the Nordic countries with a very long history. I will share a keynote presentation on folk sauna culture- history, rituals, practices, healing techniques, folklore and more. I will discuss ways in which we can utilize this tradition in our modern lives, as well as sharing my personal sauna rituals as a trolldom practitioner in the hopes of inspiring others to remember and reweave these beautiful practices in beneficial ways on the lands we live on today.

*The Northern Folk Traditions Conference is a weeklong virtual conference taking place June 2-8! Ritualcravt School is proud to virtually host 9 teachers for 12 unique classes rooted in presenting our shared love of northern magical and spiritual traditions related to the Nordic countries, and our love for the ancestors and ancestral ways. This conference aims to explore rare and unusual topics of interest relating to the folk ways of our northern ancestors.
