The Denver Astrology Group is a local astrological organization that meets on the second Sunday of each month in the greater Denver metropolitan area.
Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and engaged community in Colorado where astrologers can connect, network, and share knowledge with one another.
We focus primarily on organizing monthly meetings and workshops designed to educate, inspire, and promote a wide range of astrological traditions and practices.
Our gatherings are open to everyone; professional astrologers, dedicated enthusiasts, and those simply curious to learn more about astrology. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, all are welcome, and each meeting offers the opportunity to discover something new and meaningful.
AUGUST MEETUP:
For this month’s Denver Astrology Meetup, we’ll be exploring the fascinating intersection between astrology, psychedelics, synchronicity, and healing.
This month’s talk will focus on the groundbreaking work of psychedelic researchers and astrologers such as Stanislav Grof and Richard Tarnas, who examined the relationship between astrological transits and psychedelic experiences during therapeutic and healing work.
Together, we’ll explore how astrology may function as a symbolic framework for understanding altered states of consciousness, personal transformation, and meaning-making experiences.
Topics for this meetup include:
• The historical connection between psychedelic therapy and astrology
• Synchronicity and the role of astrological timing
• Stan Grof’s Birth Perinatal Matrices (BPMs) and their connection to planetary archetypes
• Astrology as a healing and interpretive tool
• Interactive chart examples examining transits during psychedelic experiences
This meetup will be led by Kate (@kronosastrology) who is currently researching psychedelics and astrology as part of their dissertation work. The presentation will include discussion-based and interactive elements, inviting attendees to engage directly with chart interpretation and archetypal symbolism in real time.
Whether you’re a practicing astrologer, a student of the craft, or simply someone interested in the deeper implications of astrology, this conversation will offer a thoughtful space to reflect on how and why we practice astrology the way we do.
