The Denver Astrology Group is a local astrological organization that meets on the second Sunday of each month in the greater Denver metropolitan area.
Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and engaged community in Colorado where astrologers can connect, network, and share knowledge with one another.
We focus primarily on organizing monthly meetings and workshops designed to educate, inspire, and promote a wide range of astrological traditions and practices.
Our gatherings are open to everyone; professional astrologers, dedicated enthusiasts, and those simply curious to learn more about astrology. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, all are welcome, and each meeting offers the opportunity to discover something new and meaningful.
OCTOBER MEETUP:
Hello fellow astrology enthusiasts! 
For this month’s Denver Astrology Meetup, we’ll be exploring the zodiac through an ecological lens with poet Sara Slingerland Sheiner in her presentation, ASTRO-ECOLOGIES: A Poet’s Musings on the Sensuousness of the Zodiac.
Rather than approaching the twelve signs solely through personality traits, keywords, or abstract archetypes, this presentation will explore the signs as living environments and ecological systems. How might an exploration of the landscapes, climates, creatures, and resources of each sign give us a more deeply felt experience of our birth charts?
By looking at the natural world as a reflection of astrological archetypes, we can begin to consider not only what a sign represents, but how those particular places might feel, taste, smell, and sound.
Musings for this meetup include:
• Ecological and environmental symbolism within the zodiac
• The relationship between terrain, climate, and astrological archetypes
• How animals and their habitats can illuminate the symbolism of the signs
• The relationship between elemental & modal qualities and environmental conditions
• Examples of how observing the natural world can deepen our understanding of familiar zodiacal symbolism
Sara’s approach invites us to reconsider the zodiac as something more than a collection of abstract characteristics. This presentation will offer a new framework for thinking about familiar astrological symbolism and encouraging attendees to engage with the zodiac through observation, imagination, and the natural world.
Whether you’re a practicing astrologer, a student of the craft, or simply interested in the relationship between astrology and the world around us, this conversation offers an opportunity to look at the zodiac from an entirely different and sense-based perspective.
We use a sliding scale to help make this event accessible to people of varying economic means. We kindly ask that you contribute the highest amount within that range that you can comfortably afford.
The store will be open, so feel free to come early or stay late for all your occult supply needs! Limited lot parking is available, as well as additional parking around the back of the building.
