The Denver Astrology Group is a local astrological organization that meets on the second Sunday of each month in the greater Denver metropolitan area.Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and engaged community in Colorado where astrologers can connect, network, and share knowledge with one another.We focus primarily on organizing monthly meetings and workshops designed to educate, inspire, and promote a wide range of astrological traditions and practices.Our gatherings are open to everyone; professional astrologers, dedicated enthusiasts, and those simply curious to learn more about astrology. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, all are welcome, and each meeting offers the opportunity to discover something new and meaningful.
DECEMBER MEETUP:
For our December Denver Astrology Meetup, we’ll be exploring one of the oldest applications of astrological practice: Medical Astrology.Medical astrology was once deeply woven into the practice of astrology and medicine. For centuries, physicians studied astrology themselves or consulted astrologers as part of understanding the condition and constitution of their patients. While the role of astrology in medicine has changed considerably over time, traditions of medical astrology continue to be practiced in various cultures today.This month, Lisa of @thedynamicsepf_astrology will lead us through an exploration of vitality: the individual’s inherent capacity to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. Each person comes into life with their own “vital flame,” and astrology can offer a framework for examining the strength and quality of that flame within the natal chart.Together, we’ll gain a basic understanding of how traditional medical astrology approaches vitality, what factors in a natal chart can speak to an individual’s constitution and resilience, and how these principles can be thoughtfully incorporated into personal chart exploration and client work.Rather than approaching the chart simply as a map of illness or diagnosis, this presentation will focus on the broader question of what supports a person’s ability to thrive & how astrology can help us explore that question.Whether you’re a practicing astrologer, a student of traditional astrology, or simply curious about the historical relationship between astrology, health, and the human experience, this presentation offers an opportunity to explore an important and often overlooked dimension of the astrological tradition.We use a sliding scale to help make this event accessible to people of varying economic means. We kindly ask that you contribute the highest amount within that range that you can comfortably afford.
