{VIRTUAL} Trollpåsar for Autumn: Spell Pouches in Scandinavian Trolldom Tradition

Please register ahead of time to ensure that you make it to the online session on time! (Classes are in MDT time zone.) Class fees are non transferable, we stick to the student agreements agreed upon during registration. Registration closes one hour prior to class starting.
In my lineage of Scandinavian American folk magic tradition, one of the ways in which we cast spells are with trollpåsar, or magical bags. We will have a keynote lecture on magical bags in trolldom history, materials, and discussion on how to cast spells with them. We will also craft a couple bags during class! Please come to class with an idea of what you would like to harvest more of in your life for this Autumn season. You will need to get the following supplies before class (just bring what you can!):
6-8″ square cotton fabric in black
6-8″ square cotton fabric in white
Embroidery thread or yarn in black, white and red
Small amounts of stones, herbs, roots, natural items, and other magical materia chosen by you that speaks to you of harvest, ripening, and gratitude
Paper and pen, a few colored markers
Students will leave class with a practical way of working with spell bags year round.
