{IN PERSON} Beginning Shamanism: A Two-Day Training

We each have a personal direct-line to spirit, and to the direct revelation that our spirit guides provide. In this intensive workshop, you’ll meet your personal power animals and spirit guides, and learn how to journey with them for practical guidance, spiritual connection and enhanced well-being. We’ll focus on the practices and tools that help build that connection into a deep, on-going and active alliance. Exploring the shamanic realms through a variety of journeys and approaches, we’ll also experience using shamanic healing practices on behalf of others.
Sessions run 10:30 am to 5:30 pm both days, Oct 17th & 18th, with a 1-hour break for lunch. Please plan to arrive around 10:00am to get settled in.
Please bring/wear:
— note-taking materials
— a drum and/or rattle if you already have these
— comfortable clothes
— brown-bag your lunch (or find options nearby)
— a bandana/scarf eye-covering (for maximum darkness)
— a rock, ideally about grapefruit/softball sized
— optional: your own small blanket or yoga pad
Renna Shesso’s shamanic work began in the late 1980s, built on intensive studies with Sandra Ingerman and other formal teachers, work that continues to this day. She carries several decades of personal experience as a shamanic teacher and healing practitioner. Renna Shesso is a shamanic healing practitioner and teacher, professional tarot reader, priestess of the Craft, and writer.
She began exploring magical knowledge-paths as a young adult, learning astrology from her grandmother, and has expended her interests exponentially in the decades since then. In addition to her own self-published zines on magical workings, Renna is the author of Planets for Pagans and Math for Mystics (both published by Weiser Books). While privileged to study with many fine teachers, she turns to Nature Herself as the ultimate teacher and healer
