The Denver Astrology Group is a local astrological organization that meets on the second Sunday of each month in the greater Denver metropolitan area.

Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and engaged community in Colorado where astrologers can connect, network, and share knowledge with one another.

We focus primarily on organizing monthly meetings and workshops designed to educate, inspire, and promote a wide range of astrological traditions and practices.

Our gatherings are open to everyone; professional astrologers, dedicated enthusiasts, and those simply curious to learn more about astrology. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, all are welcome, and each meeting offers the opportunity to discover something new and meaningful.

Hello fellow astrology enthusiasts! 

For this month’s Denver Astrology Meetup, we’ll be exploring one of astrology’s most fascinating and practical branches: Horary Astrology.

 

Horary is the art of casting a chart for the moment a sincere question is asked in order to understand the unfolding of that matter. Rather than focusing on natal potential or long-term cycles, horary meets us in the immediacy of life’s uncertainties and asks: what is happening here, now?

 

In this session, Rosalie (@astrorosalie) will guide us through the foundations of horary astrology, including its historical roots, core mechanics, and the interpretive techniques astrologers have used for centuries to judge questions involving relationships, career, lost objects, timing, and major life decisions.
We’ll also explore the different schools of horary thought, from medieval and Renaissance traditions to modern traditional revivals, highlighting the contributions of practitioners such as Bonatti, Lilly, Lehman, Louis, Frawley, and others who have helped preserve and evolve this remarkable craft.

 

Whether you’re completely new to horary or already experienced in chart judgment, this meetup will offer both accessible foundations and deeper technical insight through practical examples and discussion.

 

We use a sliding scale to help make this event accessible to people of varying economic means. We kindly ask that you contribute the highest amount within that range that you can comfortably afford.

 

The store will be open, so feel free to come early or stay late for all your occult supply needs! Limited lot parking is available, as well as additional parking around the back of the building.
