{IN PERSON} Introduction to Spirit-Guided Journeying

We each have a personal direct-line to spirit, but may need some help to reawaken it. The spiritual practices of Animism – often called Shamanism – offer an ancient and profound pathway into Spirit, and this short class is an introduction to the trance-work of “journeying,” a vital skill for this path.
The ability to intentionally shift into a trance state and commune with our spirit-plane helpers is an asset to many spiritual paths, and journeying is one very dependable means of doing that – for guidance, for healing, and for the outright joy of direct connection with Spirit.
Please bring/wear:
— Comfortable clothes you can move and lay down in
— A bandana/scarf eye-covering (for maximum darkness)
— Optional: your own small blanket or yoga pad
Renna Shesso’s shamanic work began in the late 1980s, built on intensive studies with Sandra Ingerman and other formal teachers, work that continues to this day. Renna Shesso is a shamanic healing practitioner and teacher, professional tarot reader, priestess of the Craft, and writer.
She began exploring magical knowledge-paths as a young adult, learning astrology from her grandmother, and has expended her interests exponentially in the decades since then. In addition to her own self-published zines on magical workings, Renna is the author of Planets for Pagans and Math for Mystics (both published by Weiser Books). While privileged to study with many fine teachers, she turns to Nature Herself as the ultimate teacher and healer.
