This is a unique opportunity to connect with nature and engage all of your senses, helping you to slow down, be fully present in your body, and rediscover the healing energy and beauty of the natural world.
Furthermore, engaging in forest bathing not only allows for a pause in daily life to connect with nature and its beings, but also offers a multitude of scientifically researched health benefits. These include enhanced immune function, better cardiovascular and respiratory health, improved attention span, regulated nervous system, enhanced sleep quality and cognitive function, as well as reduced levels of stress and depression.
Forest Bathing is an intentional, gentle, and guided practice that takes place in a natural setting. It is intended to help you connect with yourself, the natural world, and others through simple, open-ended “invitations” in a supportive and safely held space and environment. These sessions generally last between 2 1/2 to 3 hours, involve light walking, and end with an offering of tea.
The Forest is the therapist, the guide opens the doors.
