Almost everyone dreams every single night. Beyond the rational, a deep well of unconscious material urges the human soul to express itself through art and dreaming as it has for millenia. Cross culturally, dreams emerge through many forms, from scrawling cave paintings to innately healing emblems of the divine. This class is for those who are curious to begin to dive into the realm of their dreaming mind. Participants arrive with a dream they would like to work with and curiosity, creative art materials will be provided (bring your favorites if you would like), including a signed copy of Naomi Sangreal’s debut interactive book, Little Hidden Doors; A Guided Journal for Deep Dreamers. This dream-art journal offers a place to cradle psyche’s nightly imagination presenting guided meditations, lucid dreaming techniques, space for art making and journaling prompts to record your wildest dreams. Learn about ways to remember and record dreams, different types of dreams, basic symbols and archetypes, and useful practices to begin engaging with your personal unconscious material. Experience a dream re-entry meditation which invites intuitive insight and allows the dream to speak through active imagination. Through the process of collage and automatic drawing we will have the opportunity to illuminate the primordial symbols that dwell within the deep psyche in real time. Dreamers will be encouraged to share their art piece along with their dream, inviting insight and projection from the group. The wisdom of self and collective discovery is available to us every night while our egoic mind is asleep, and working with dreams enables us to develop a conscious and transformational relationship to their power. Come learn how to approach your dreams from a practical perspective and start a dream work practice that will change your life.

Naomi Sangreal is an avid dreamer, teacher, artist and magical psychotherapist. She has been channeling prophetic dreams and making artwork as long as she can remember. Whether you need consistent guidance, a simple card reading, a dream diving session or a combination of all three, you can work with Naomi to choose the approach that best fits your needs. She is guided by her keen intuition, a lifetime of research and experience with dream work, as well as her extensive academic studies of the deep psyche. Naomi graduated with her BA in Contemplative Psychology from Naropa University with an emphasis in Transpersonal Counseling, Art Therapy and Visual Art. Naomi has been teaching dream and nightmare classes at Ritualcravt in Denver, CO since 2017 and holds her Masters in Counseling and Depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. With one foot in each world, she brings together the healing power of psychology and the transformative wisdom of spirit to artfully guide you through life’s challenges. Naomi’s authentic presence and down to earth approach creates a genuine connection and safe space for compassionate healing.
